| Thank you Weirton for
hosting a successful quiz. The location, facilities and food
were all fantastic. We had 12 teams from 15 District
Churches. |

| Now that everyone has had a
practice quiz on all of the material we should really shine
at the March quiz! I'm really looking forward to traveling
to MVNU and practicing with the district teams. |

| The next quiz is March
12-13, 2003 at Morgantown Pierpont Church. Remember to study
all of Hebrews and I & II Peter. We will begin
registration at 7 PM on Friday. Quizzing will begin at 7:30
PM. On Saturday there will be a few announcements and
quizzing will start as soon after 9:30 AM as possible. |

| Here are directions to the
church: Take exit 7 off of I-68 (Pierpont Road). From the
north turn left - from the south turn right. You will take
the first right (there is a sign for the church and the
Christian school). After a very short distance you will turn
right again at the Christian school gymnasium. Pierpont
Church is less than ½ mile down this road on your right. |

| Coaches just a reminder - at
the March quiz each church can bring only one team (or
combined team if that is how you have been quizzing) as we
will be doing modified double elimination brackets. I'll
also need to know what grade each of your quizzers is in to
help in determining the two (2) Varsity and two (2) Junior
Varsity teams we will be selecting to go to MVNU. The
following quizzers are still in the running for Quizzer of
the Year: Ben Briles, Charlie Rosser, Josh Foster, Josh
Houben, Michael Hickman, Stephanie Rudash, Stephen Mapes,
and Vanessa Morris. We will be voting before the competition
begins at Pierpont so please discuss this with your team and
come prepared to vote. |
