Quiz Coaches and Potential New Quiz Teams Greetings and Welcome,
I can hardly believe that this will be our fourth season together. I know many of you and your team members are excited too – I’ve gotten a few emails asking for the enclosed information. We can take 4 teams to MVNU this spring - I’ll have a sign up sheet at each quiz for any one interested in coaching a district team to let me know. Our teams did very well at the Regional Quiz last season and I’m looking forward to this year!
I’ll also have the coaches’ address list available so that you can make changes and additions. At the October Quiz I’ll have copies available for those who choose to pick them up.
Acme has sent me information again this year. I’ll bring it to the first quiz. They are also offering their dramatized NIV Scripture CD again. However, as many of you may have already discovered BareFoot Ministries has a website just for quizzers: www.barefootministries.com or www.YouthQuiz.com will get you there. Spiral bound scripture portions are now available there. They also have quiz software you can sign up for; it has games and study aids (there is an interactive internet game now). There will also be a devotional posted each week on a chapter of quiz material. There is a registration fee but for that you will also be able to make and print practice questions that would normally have been found only in the GREEN BOOK. All of our competition questions will be coming from a restricted director’s section of that website.
Registration for Friday quizzes will begin at 6:30 P.M. with quizzing starting at 7 P.M. All Saturday quiz registrations will begin at 9:30 A.M. with quizzing beginning at 10 A.M.
